The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program will help you improve your English and prepare you for post-secondary studies and future employment. Both newcomers to Canada and international students from around the world come to study in our supportive environment. The EAP program provides our students exciting student life opportunities through academic activities, extra-curricular events, and workshops (some are free, some at additional cost).
Housed in a state-of-the-art learning space in downtown Toronto, our courses help enhance your English proficiency and build your confidence. Our programs combine in-depth training in core language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) to help you succeed in your future academic and career goals.
Located downtown and close to our St. James Campus, there’s a lot to see and do at the School of ESL.
From our volunteer program to weekly workshops, there are many opportunities for you to connect with your classmates and other GBC students.
